Willall Racing Australia have been hard at work developing some very well researched high quality parts for the R35 GT-R, The latest product to go into production is their two piece billet aluminum oil pan.
The VR38DETT comes with a 5.8 quart engine oil capacity and works the engine oil hard with big temperature loading and duty cycle due to the relatively low capacity. With this in mind they have re-modelled the original pressed tin factory pan into a two piece high volume billet aluminum sump, complete with cooling fins and removable bottom tray that takes the GTR oil capacity out an extra 1.7 quarts to a total of 7.5 quarts, reducing overall oil temperature and giving a greater reservoir for the engine to draw from.
With the sump fitted You can see the quality and fit of the WR35OP Oil pan, The drain plug has been retained in the factory position for easy access once the carbon fiber panels have been refitted. The removable tray is a great innovation that we can see being very popular amongst GT-R tuners.
